Quantum and I have continued with his intense training, his Flare BioVerti-serum.... it's rather potent.  Instant death to those that dare to face it.  Rather long and tiring to perform though, a slight flaw for the moment.  Darkness is still apparently in conflict with this dark character, that'll be delt with later.  For the time being myself and Quantum are going to Midgar, he needs to meet some of the people there.  Following that it'll be wise to introduce him to the Arena, and some of the strongest monsters known to live. 

Sparring Session against Quantum:

*Shajiko laughs coldly.... summoning his Mugenjin Blade into his hand, swiping the ground in a sweeping motion... the blade instantly igniting in a towering inferno.  Slyly he glides towards his apprentice.... moving similar to a shadow along a wall, his body not really seen... but rather just... there*

*Quantum gets into a defensive stance, blood dripping from his fangs... a bloody Seraphim in his hand, the end slightly serrated to rip the flesh from a victum's bones... his eyes alert yet not a shed of fear anywhere around him*

*Gaining an advantage, Shajiko appears behind him... smirking slightly as his blazing sword slashes his apprentice's chest, knocking him off balance but not sending him to the ground.  Not loosing his composure, Quantum leaps forward.... reversing himself while in the air and casting a highly toxic Flare Bio-vertium.  Seeing the attack Shajiko stands, his body transparent in the shadowy light... laughing into hysteria*

We'll need to teach you better spells and techniques, these are too basic in nature. 

So, the chicken is called a chocobo... this one's a baby one.  The adults are about ten feet tall and rather strong.  Excellent uses of travel I noticed, as that I'm already in Balamb and I left only a short while ago.... an hour maybe.  My search on Odin has been going unusually well, though people keep staring at me with cautious eyes and Gilgamesh is repeatedly mentioned in the text. 

I respect their reasons for staring... they've never met someone with their own gravitational field, or a person that made lights go out as he entered a room.  They'll start to respect me in time, I'm sure....

After capturing thirty of these... things... I encountered a rather "large" adversary.  There's a king of them, which appears only after dozens of its young are killed... or missing.  However, this one is different... stronger in some aspects, and weaker in others.  I'll have to study more about it, search the library at Balamb for information on its behavior.  Other than that I've nothing else of interest to mention, Quantum did bring something peculiar on his last hunting... seems that there is a chicken around here, he didn't kill it.... luckily.

Well, the tonberry study is going well... Odin is next on the list, though I won't capture him.  This... thing... seems to be able to manipulate time, and attack with relatively unique skills.  Upon capturing it it used an attack called Karma, which nearly killed me... I'm curious as to how that happened.  I heard that the attack is based on the amount of creatures you've destroyed within your life, however I've killed none... unless it includes those killed by the peoples' whose blood resides within my veins. 

I'll create another list of items for sale next time I visit Galbadia, I'm in need of going there to receive information on Hide... an ancient Sorcerer.
